Moist White Wine Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (5 oz) package vanilla instant pudding mix .
  • 4 eggs .
  • 3/4 c white wine .
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg .
  • 1 (18 1/4 oz) package moist white cake mix .
  • 3/4 c vegetable oil

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step #2 Grease & flour one 10 inch bundt pan.
  • Step #3 In medium bowl mix the cake mix, nutmeg, instant vanilla pudding, vegetable oil, white wine, & eggs.
  • Step #4 Beat with an electric mixer for 5 mins.
  • Step #5 Bake at 350 degrees F for 45-50 mins or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Step #6 Let cake cool on rack in pan for 10 mins then remove cake from pan to rack.
  • Step #7 Let cake cool completely before slicing.
  • Step #8 Garnish sliced cake with a dollop of whipped cream or dust with confectioners' sugar & sliced strawberries.
  • Step #9 Variation: You can also "flour" the pan after it's been greased with cocoa powder or a cinnamon sugar mixture for a textured crust.
