French Breakfast Muffins Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp cinnamon .
  • Topping .
  • 2 tbsps milk .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1 tsp cinnamon .
  • Muffin .
  • 1/2 c sugar .
  • 6 tbsps melted butter .
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg .
  • 2 tbsps melted butter .
  • 1 c milk .
  • 2/3 c sugar .
  • 1 large egg .
  • 2 c flour .
  • 2 1/2 tsps baking powder

Directions
  • Step #1 Begin by mixing all the dry ingredients together for the muffins.
  • Step #2 Mix all the wet ingredients together in a separate bowl.
  • Step #3 Combine the wet & dry ingredients, just until mixed - don't overmix! Pour into muffin tins that are greased with butter ONLY on the bottoms.
  • Step #4 Place into preheated oven - 375 degrees.
  • Step #5 Bake for 15 mins, then turn them & bake for 5 mins more.
  • Step #6 Let muffins cool slightly, then remove this from muffin tins.
  • Step #7 Put the topping ingredients into 2 bowls.
  • Step #8 Roll each muffin top in the butter then the cinnamon-sugar mix.
  • Step #9 Eat while still warm.
