Creamy Cheesy Broccoli And Potato Soup Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 c broccoli, minced .
  • 1 tbsp onion powder .
  • 2 (10 1/3 oz) cans cream of chicken soup .
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 6-9 slices cooked bacon, crumbled* .
  • 20 5/8 oz soup cans milk .
  • 16 oz Velveeta cheese .
  • 6 c sliced potatoes .
  • 1 1/2 c water

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook bacon until crisp & set aside.
  • Step #2 Crumble when cooled.
  • Step #3 (Omit this step if using bacon bits).
  • Step #4 Cook potatoes for 5 mins from start of boiling.
  • Step #5 Drain.
  • Step #6 Combine onions, milk, chicken soup, bacon, salt, potatoes, cheese, broccoli, & pepper.
  • Step #7 Cook on low heat.
  • Step #8 Serve when potatoes are done & cheese is melted.
  • Step #9 This recipe works best in a crock-pot when cooked all day long.
  • Step #10 *3-4 tbsps Bacon bits may be used instead of sliced bacon.
  • Step #11 *2 tbsps Chopped Onion may be used instead.
