Amazingly Easy Chocolate Buttercream Frosting Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted & cooled .
  • 3 3/4 c confectioners' sugar .
  • 3-4 tbsps milk .
  • 1/2 c butter or margarine, softened .
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions
  • Step #1 Place chocolate in heavy saucepan on very low heat or in the microwave until melted.
  • Step #2 Set aside to cool.
  • Step #3 Combine In a large-ish bowl, with mixer at lowish speed, confectioners sugar, butter, milk & vanilla.
  • Step #4 Beat at medium speed 1-2 mins until creamy.
  • Step #5 Add cooled chocolate & beat till mixd.
  • Step #6 (If you want,you may add more milk now to get your desired spreading consistancy! I never need too.
  • Step #7 ).
  • Step #8 Makes enough to fill & frost 2-layer cake, or 13x9x2-inch sheet cake or 24 ccakes, or 1 bundt cake.
