Praline Sundae Topping Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps light corn syrup .
  • 1 1/4 c brown sugar, firmly packed .
  • 16 large marshmallows .
  • 1 c evaporated milk .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 1/2 c sliced pecans, toasted .
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine .
  • 1 dash salt

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large saucepan, melt butter over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #2 Add the marshmallows, corn syrup, brown sugar, & salt; mix well.
  • Step #3 Cook over med-heat/flame, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.
  • Step #4 Boil for 1 min.
  • Step #5 Remove from heat & let the mixture cool for 5 mins.
  • Step #6 Stir in evaporated milk, pecans, & vanilla.
  • Step #7 Serve topping warm over ice cream.
  • Step #8 (Store leftover topping in refrigerator.
  • Step #9 It will thicken as it cools).
