Chocolate Decadence Cakeii Recipe

Ingredients
  • 16 (1 oz) squares bittersweet chocolate
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 10 tbsps butter
  • 1 tbsp white sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 400F degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Grease & flour an 8 inch round pan.
  • Step #3 In the top of a double boiler, melt the chocolate & butter.
  • Step #4 Stir until smooth & remove this from heat.
  • Step #5 In a separate bowl over boiling water, whisk the eggs & sugar until light & lemon colored.
  • Step #6 Remove from heat & fold in the flour.
  • Step #7 Mix 1/4 of the egg mixture into the chocolate.
  • Step #8 Pour remaining egg mixture into chocolate & quickly fold until no streaks remain.
  • Step #9 Pour into prepared pan.
  • Step #10 Bake at 400F degrees F (200 degrees C) for 15 mins.
  • Step #11 The cake will be soft & appear under-baked.
  • Step #12 Allow to cool before removing from pan.
