  • 1/2 c milled flax seeds .
  • 1 c old-fashioned oatmeal (NOT quick oatmeal) .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 1/4 c raw sugar .
  • 4 eggs, beaten .
  • 4 c sifted whole wheat flour (make sure to measure AFTER sifting) .
  • 4 c milk .
  • 2 tbsps baking powder

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine dry ingredients in mixer.
  • Step #2 Add remaining ingredients & mix until well incorporated.
  • Step #3 Let sit about 5 mins.
  • Step #4 Spray waffle maker with non-stick spray.
  • Step #5 Cook waffles until lightly brown.
