Cranberry Port Sauce With Banana Peppers Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c cranberries (fresh or frozen) .
  • 1 tbsp orange peel, grated .
  • 1/4 c port wine .
  • 1/4 c banana peppers, seeded & sliced (the pickled variety) .
  • 1/4 c orange juice .
  • 1/3 c granulated sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 In 1-quart saucepan over med-heat/flame, heat all ingredients to boiling.
  • Step #2 Reduce heat to low; simmer, 5 to 10 mins or until mixture is thickened, uncovered, stirring every once in awhile.
