Chive Mushroom Soup Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine
  • 2 tbsps all-purpose flour
  • 1 c half-and-half cream
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 c chicken broth
  • 1/8 tsp ground mustard
  • 1 c finely sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 tbsps snipped chives

Directions
  • Step #1 In a saucepan, saute mushrooms in butter until tender.
  • Step #2 Stir in flour, salt & mustard until mixed; slowly stir in the broth.
  • Step #3 Bring to a boil; cook & stir for 2 mins.
  • Step #4 Reduce heat; stir in the the cream & chives.
  • Step #5 Cook 5 mins longer or until heated through.
