Boneless Leg Of Lamb With Cranberry Glaze Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp dried marjoram .
  • 1 tsp garlic powder .
  • 1 tbsp dried rosemary, sliced .
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 1 c white wine .
  • 1/2 c olive oil .
  • 1/2 tsp dried savory .
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil .
  • 1/2 c dried cranberries .
  • 1 c orange juice .
  • 2 tbsps butter .
  • 1 c honey .
  • 1 (5 lb) boneless leg of lamb .
  • For the glaze .
  • For the herb rub

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step #2 Combine ingredients for the herb rub in a small bowl.
  • Step #3 Coat the meat on all sides iwth the herb mix.
  • Step #4 Put the meat on a rack in baking dish & place this in the oven.
  • Step #5 Bake for 30 mins per lb, approximately, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F.
  • Step #6 for rare, 160°F for medium & 170°F for well done.
  • Step #7 While lamb is baking, mix white wine, cranberries, honey & orange juice in skillet on the stovetop & let simmer for 12-15 mins.
  • Step #8 Add butter to the sauce, mix well & pour all ingredients into a food processor/blender & puree.
  • Step #9 Return to skillet to keep warm.
  • Step #10 Cut lamb into 1/2 " thick slices & serve this with the warm glaze.
