Digestion Friendly Bell Peppers Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 tbsps baking soda .
  • 1 quart tap water .
  • 1-2 bell pepper, cored & seeded

Directions
  • Step #1 Cut up the bell peppers as needed for whatever you are cooking.
  • Step #2 You need to have some of the inside exposed, so if you're doing stuffed peppers, cut off the tops.
  • Step #3 In a bowl deep enough to cover the peppers, mix baking soda & water & stir until dissolved.
  • Step #4 It's ok if some of it settles out.
  • Step #5 Soak the bell peppers in the baking soda water for 30 mins & rinse well.
  • Step #6 They're ready for use in whatever you wish.
