Light & Fluffy Sponge Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 125 ml cooking oil .
  • 3 eggs .
  • 125 ml milk .
  • 1 c cake flour .
  • 3 tsps baking powder .
  • 175 ml sugar .
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 180 deg Celcius (375 F).
  • Step #2 Grease non stick cake pan Beat together eggs, oil & sugar, beat untill light & fluffly.
  • Step #3 Add flour, salt & baking powder.
  • Step #4 Mix well with electric beater.
  • Step #5 Pour into baking pan & bake for approx 15-20 mins.
  • Step #6 PLEASE NOTE: For a chocolate cake add 2 tsps of unsweentened cocoa to 120ml warm water & add to mixture, note that chocolate cakes should take another 10 mins to cook.
