Double Frosted Brownies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 eggs .
  • 8 (1 oz) bakers unsweetened chocolate squares .
  • 4 tbsps sugar .
  • Double Frosted Brownies .
  • 1/4 c butter .
  • 4 c confectioners' sugar .
  • 1 lb butter .
  • vanilla extract .
  • 2 c sugar .
  • 1 1/2 c flour .
  • milk

Directions
  • Step #1 Melt 1/2lb butter & 4 squares of chocolate over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #2 Add 2C sugar & stir until dissolved.
  • Step #3 One at a time, beat in 4 eggs.
  • Step #4 Add 2tsp of vanilla & 1 1/2C flour.
  • Step #5 Bake in 13x19" pan (greased) at 325*F for 25-30min.
  • Step #6 Cool.
  • Step #7 Frosting:.
  • Step #8 Mix to a spreadable consistency: 4C confectioner's sugar, 1C butter (1/2lb), 2tsp vanilla extract & about 2tbsp of milk.
  • Step #9 Add food coloring if desired.
  • Step #10 Top layer:.
  • Step #11 Melt 4 squares chocolate, 4tbsp butter (1/2 stick), 4tbsp sugar together.
  • Step #12 Pour over brownies.
  • Step #13 Refrigerate to harden chocolate.
  • Step #14 Warm to room temp before cutting.
