Low Fat-cal Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 tbsps Splenda brown sugar mix .
  • 1/4 c semi-sweet chocolate chips .
  • 1/2 c Splenda sugar substitute .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1 tbsp flour .
  • 1/4 c egg substitute (or 2 egg whites) .
  • 1 c flour .
  • 7 tbsps unsweetened applesauce .
  • 2 tbsps water

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step #2 Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or coat with nonstick spray.
  • Step #3 In a large bowl, mix applesauce & water with sugars until smooth.
  • Step #4 Add egg substitute (or egg whites) & vanilla.
  • Step #5 Mix well.
  • Step #6 Blend in flour, baking soda & salt.
  • Step #7 Mix chocolate chips into batter.
  • Step #8 Scoop batter in 1/2 tbsp mounds on sheet, one inch apart.
  • Step #9 Be sure to make all cookies approximately the same size & thickness, allowing them to bake uniformly.
  • Step #10 Bake 12 to 14 mins until cookies are golden.
  • Step #11 Remove from oven.
  • Step #12 They will become crispy when cooled.
