Lentil Sprout Spread Recipe

Ingredients
  • fresh lemon juice .
  • 1 ripe avocado .
  • fresh herbs, your choice (try parsley, cilantro, oregano, thyme, etc., or dried herbs) .
  • salt .
  • 1/2 c lentils .
  • 1/2 c sesame seeds

Directions
  • Step #1 Sprout the 1/2 c lentils for 2 days(See my recipe).
  • Step #2 Sprout the sesame seeds for 2 days, following same method(or used unsprouted).
  • Step #3 Place the lentils & sesame seeds in a food processor/blender.
  • Step #4 Add the avocado, lemon & salt to taste.
  • Step #5 Add herbs according to what you like & process until smooth.
  • Step #6 I used cilantro & parsley with good results(about 1/4 c each).
  • Step #7 You may use the spread on bread or toast or biscuits.
