Strawberry Pineapple Slush Recipe

Ingredients
  • 5 c sugar .
  • 2 (2 liter) bottles ginger ale, chilled .
  • 9 c water .
  • 4 (3 oz) packages jell-o strawberry gelatin .
  • 2 (46 oz) cans pineapple juice .
  • 1 (15 oz) bottle lemon juice

Directions
  • Step #1 In large pot, bring water, sugar, & gelatin to boiling; stirring to dissolve sugar & gelatin.
  • Step #2 Chill about 1 hr or until slightly thickened.
  • Step #3 Stir in pineapple juice & lemon juice.
  • Step #4 Divide mixture among 8 quart size resealable plastic freezer bags.
  • Step #5 Seal bags & freeze until firm.
  • Step #6 To serve, let bags of juice mixture stand at about room temp for 30 mins.
  • Step #7 Empty bags into large punch bowl.
  • Step #8 Add ginger ale.
  • Step #9 Break up mixture with spoon until it is a slushy consistency.
  • Step #10 Serve as soon as possible.
