Coconut Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla .
  • 2 tsps milk .
  • 4 tbsps butter (seperated) .
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese .
  • 3 1/2 c powdered sugar, sifted .
  • 1 3/4 c flaked coconut

Directions
  • Step #1 Melt 2 Tbls butter in skillet; add coconut.
  • Step #2 Stir constantly while cooking over low heat/flame until golden brown.
  • Step #3 Spread coconut on absorbent paper to cool.
  • Step #4 Cream remaining butter with cream cheese.
  • Step #5 Add milk, then beat in sugar slowly.
  • Step #6 Blend in vanilla & stir in the coconut.
  • Step #7 Spread on cake.
