Peanut Butter Chocolate Drops Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c light margarine, softened .
  • 1 3/4 c confectioners' sugar .
  • 2 tsps canola oil .
  • 1/4 c light corn syrup .
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips .
  • 1 c reduced-fat creamy peanut butter

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine margarine, peanut butter, confectioners sugar & corn syrup.
  • Step #2 Mix well.
  • Step #3 Roll into 1” balls & place this in freezer on waxed paper-lined tray for 1 hr.
  • Step #4 Melt chocolate chips w/ vegetable oil in microwave 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until smooth.
  • Step #5 Remove peanut butter balls from freezer.
  • Step #6 Using fork or skewer, dip & turn each candy piece in melted chocolate; coat evenly.
  • Step #7 Place on waxed paper-lined tray.
  • Step #8 Refrigerate until firm (15 min).
