Rocky Road Ice Cream Shop Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips .
  • 3 1/2 c Cool Whip, thawed .
  • 3 1/2 oz jell-o chocolate flavor instant pudding & pie filling mix (4-serving size) .
  • 1 prepared graham cracker crumb crust (6 ouces) .
  • 1 1/2 c cold milk or half-and-half cream .
  • 1/2 c sliced nuts .
  • 1/2 c miniature marshmallows

Directions
  • Step #1 Pour milk into large bowl.
  • Step #2 Add pudding mix & beat with a wire whisk until well mixed, 1 to 2 mins.
  • Step #3 Let stand 5 mins or until slightly thickened.
  • Step #4 Fold whipped topping, chocolate chips, marshmallows, & nuts into pudding mixture.
  • Step #5 Spoon into crumb crust.
  • Step #6 Freeze pie until firm, about 6 hrs or overnight.
  • Step #7 Let stand at about room temp for 10 mins before serving to soften.
  • Step #8 Store leftover pie in the freezer.
