Mom's Hungarian Goulash Recipe

Ingredients

1 dash pepper .
1 tsp vinegar .
1 c water .
1 c onions, sliced .
2 lbs beef chuck .
3/4 c catsup .
2 garlic cloves, minced .
2 1/2 tsps paprika .
2 tsps salt .
1 lb elbow macaroni .
2 tbsps flour .
1/4 c worcestershire sauce .
1 tsp dry mustard .
3 tbsps oil .
2 c water .
1 tsp brown sugar

Directions

Step #1 Cut beef into 1" pieces & brown in oil.
Step #2 Add onions & garlic.
Step #3 Mix catsup, worchestershire, vinegar, sugar & seasonings.
Step #4 Add to beef.
Step #5 Add water & stir.
Step #6 Cover up & let simmer 2 - 2 1/2 hrs.
Step #7 Thicken with flour & water.
Step #8 Cook noodles according to package directions.
Step #9 Add to beef mixture.
