Fettuccine Carbonara (healthy Version) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c frozen peas .
  • 1/4 c reduced-fat caesar salad dressing, KRAFT Light Classic .
  • 1 (6 oz) package oscar mayer smoked ham, cut into short strips .
  • 1 tbsp flour .
  • 1/4 c sliced fresh parsley .
  • 1/2 lb fettuccine, uncooked .
  • 1 c nonfat milk .
  • 1/4 c philadelphia light cream cheese spread .
  • 3 tbsps kraft 100% grated parmesan cheese

Directions
  • Step #1 COOK pasta as directed on package, adding peas to the cooking water for the last 3 min of the pasta cooking time.
  • Step #2 MEANWHILE, beat cream cheese spread, dressing & flour in small saucepan with wire whisk until well mixed.
  • Step #3 Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until mixture is well mixed.
  • Step #4 Add ham; cook on medium-low heat 5 min or until heated through, stirring every once in awhile.
  • Step #5 Drain fettuccine mixture; return to saucepan.
  • Step #6 Add sauce mixture; mix lightly.
  • Step #7 Cook an extra 2 to 3 min or until heated through, stirring every once in awhile.
  • Step #8 TOP with parsley; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
