- 2 (14 oz) cans Swanson chicken broth or natural goodness fat-free low-sodium chicken broth .
- 5 large potatoes, cut into 1 inch pieces .
- 1-2 dash pepper .
- 2 tbsps butter or margarine
Directions
- Step #1 Place broth & potatoes in saucepan.
- Step #2 Heat to a boil.
- Step #3 Cover up & cook over med-heat/flame 10 mins or until tender.
- Step #4 Drain, reserving broth.
- Step #5 Mash potatoes with 1/4 c broth, cream, butter & pepper.
- Step #6 Add extra broth, if needed until desired consistency.
