Caramelized Onions With Balsamic Vinegar (low Fat) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp sugar .
  • 2 tsps olive oil .
  • 1 tbsp parsley, sliced .
  • 4 medium onions, thinly sliced .
  • salt .
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar .
  • 2-3 garlic, finely sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oil In a large-ish skillet on high heat.
  • Step #2 Add onions & garlic, reduce heat to medium & cook for a few mins without stirring to allow onions to brown a little on bottom.
  • Step #3 Stir & cook for 5 mins longer, until onions are evenly golden & wilted.
  • Step #4 Sprinkle top onions with sugar & vinegar.
  • Step #5 Continue to cook for 10 mins, until onions are browned & tender.
  • Step #6 Spice up with salt & stir in the parsley.
  • Step #7 Serve warm or at about room temp.
