Cheesy Matzo Appetizer Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c of pitted olives, halved .
  • 1 c sliced scallions .
  • oil, for clothing aluminum foil wrap .
  • 1/2 c of sliced mushrooms .
  • 4 matzos, broken into fours .
  • 3/4-1 c cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese, mixed

Directions
  • Step #1 heat the oven to 400F degrees Fahrenhiet.
  • Step #2 Take out a baking sheet & line the bottom with foil wrap.
  • Step #3 pour oil onto baking sheet, about a tbsp or two.
  • Step #4 Take a paper towel & rub the oil so it clothes all of the foil wrap.
  • Step #5 Break the matzos into fours, so you should end up with 16 peices.
  • Step #6 Place 8 peices on the foil wrap.
  • Step #7 Then add the scallions on, mushrooms, olives, & lastly the cheese.
  • Step #8 Then put to last 8 peices on top of the other 8 matzos.
  • Step #9 Put into the oven for about 4 to 5 mins.
  • Step #10 take out of the oven & let it cool for a min then peel off the foil wrap & put onto a plate & serve warm! ENJOY! *you dont have to use just scallions, olives, & mushrooms.
  • Step #11 you can add any other accesories you like.
  • Step #12 just have fun!* Also you can make more than just 8 or less.
