Holiday Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c currant jelly .
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten .
  • 1 1/2 c chili sauce .
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper .
  • 3 tbsps dry breadcrumbs .
  • 1 lb lean ground beef .
  • 2 tsps Dijon mustard .
  • 1/2 tsp coarse salt

Directions
  • Step #1 In a crock pot, jelly, mix the chili sauce, & mustard; cover & cook on HIGH while preparing meatballs.
  • Step #2 In a large bowl, mix beef, egg, bread crumbs, salt & pepper; mix thoroughly; shape into 30 mini meatballs.
  • Step #3 Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lightly coated with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Step #4 Bake at 400F for 15-20 mins; drain well.
  • Step #5 Add the meatballs to the sauce, stir this to coat.
  • Step #6 Cover up & cook on LOW for 5 to 7 hrs.
  • Step #7 Serve warm.
