Chicken Breast In Orange Sauce For 2 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c fresh squeezed orange juice .
  • 1 tsp fresh orange zest .
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar .
  • 1/2 tsp prepared mustard .
  • 2 (4-6 oz) boneless skinless chicken breast halves .
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger .
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch .
  • 1 tbsp dry white wine .
  • 1/4 c water

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Step #2 Place chicken breast halves in a 1 quart baking dish.
  • Step #3 In a small bowl, brown sugar, wine, mix orange zest, orange juice, mustard & ginger.
  • Step #4 Drizzle over chicken.
  • Step #5 Cover up & bake for 20-30 mins or until chicken is no longer pink in center (180-190ºF on a meat thermometer).
  • Step #6 Don't overbake! Remove chicken to serving dish, cover & keep warm.
  • Step #7 Pour pan juices into a small saucepan.
  • Step #8 In a small bowl, mix cornstarch & water till smooth.
  • Step #9 Add to juices in saucepan & cook over low heat/flame until it starts to thicken.
  • Step #10 Spoon sauce over chicken & serve.
