Almond Cherry Energy Bar Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c almond butter .
  • 3/4 c honey .
  • 1 c slivered almonds .
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract .
  • 1 c dried cherries or cherry-flavored dried cranberries .
  • 1/3 c whole wheat pastry flour .
  • 1 c wheat germ .
  • 3 c granola cereal (your favorite choice)

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Step #2 Lightly spray a 9x13-inch rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray & line with parchment paper, leaving excess paper on edges.
  • Step #3 Combine all ingredients In a large-ish bowl & spread into pan, pressing firmly.
  • Step #4 Bake for 10 mins.
  • Step #5 Pull on parchment paper to remove this from pan & cut into 24 bars while still warm.
