1 lb ground beef or ground venison or ground turkey .
1 tbsp oregano .
1/2 green pepper, sliced .
2-3 tbsps chili powder .
3 (15 oz) cans chili beans, with sauce .
1 tbsp parsley .
onions, minced .
Optional Toppings .
sour cream .
tortilla chips, whole, crushed or corn chips .
1 (10 oz) can tomato soup
Directions
Step #1 Fry ground meat; as it finishes, add the onion & saute together.
Step #2 While that is working, open all the cans & dump into slow-cooker; add the seasonings; stir this to mix.
Step #3 When meat is browned & onions are transparent or golden brown, add the green pepper, cook 1-2 more mins; then add to the bean mixture; mix well.
Step #4 Cook on high for 3-4 hrs; medium for 4-6; low for 6-8 hrs.
Step #5 Serve with corn/tortilla chips in bottom of bowl, chili next, & cheese sprinkled over the top; onions & sour cream optional.
