Ingredients
  • 2 2/3 c quick oats .
  • 1 (7 1/2 oz) box jiffy brand chocolate fudge frosting mix .
  • 5 tbsps butter or margarine .
  • 2 tsps vanilla .
  • 2 c sugar .
  • 1 pinch salt .
  • 1/2 c peanut butter .
  • 1/2 c coconut (optional) or nuts (optional) .
  • 1/2 c milk

Directions
  • Step #1 Blend frosting mix, butter, salt, sugar & milk in large sauce pan.
  • Step #2 Heat over med-heat/flame until mixture comes to a boil.
  • Step #3 Boil for 2 mins.
  • Step #4 Remove from heat & stir in the vanilla, oats, peanut butter & optional ingredients.
  • Step #5 Mix well.
  • Step #6 Drop quickly by rounded tbsps onto wax paper, chill in the fridge.
