Slow-cooker Beef Tips And Noodles Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c fresh mushrooms, sliced .
  • 2 lbs lean stewing beef, cubed .
  • 1 (1 oz) envelope mushroom gravy mix or beef gravy mix .
  • 1 (1 1/4 oz) envelope dry onion soup mix .
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz) can Healthy Request cream of mushroom soup (or low-fat) .
  • 1/2 medium onion, sliced .
  • 3/4 c beef broth (or beef broth mixed with Burgundy wine) .
  • 12 oz wide egg noodles

Directions
  • Step #1 Place beef in the slow cooker (aka crockpot).
  • Step #2 Combine mushroom soup, onion soup mix & gravy mix in a bowl until well mixed.
  • Step #3 Stir in beef broth.
  • Step #4 Add mushrooms & onions to mixture, then pour over beef.
  • Step #5 Cover up & cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hrs, or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hrs.
  • Step #6 Cook egg noodle according to directions on package.
  • Step #7 Spoon beef mixture over hot noodles & serve.
