Mustard-glazed Meat Loaf Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps apple jelly .
  • 2 tbsps Dijon mustard .
  • 1/2 c garlic herb breadcrumbs .
  • 2 tbsps sliced green onions .
  • 2 tbsps Dijon mustard .
  • Meatloaf .
  • 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef .
  • Glaze .
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves .
  • 2 eggs

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 350°F In large bowl, beat eggs.
  • Step #2 Stir in all remaining meat loaf ingredients.
  • Step #3 Press mixture in ungreased 8x4 inch loaf pan.
  • Step #4 Bake at 350°F for 40 mins.
  • Step #5 Meanwhile, in small microwave-safe measuring c, mix all glaze ingredients.
  • Step #6 Microwave on high for 1 to 2 mins or until jelly is melted, stirring every 30 seconds.
  • Step #7 Remove pan from oven.
  • Step #8 Using pancake turner to hold meat loaf in pan, drain off fat.
  • Step #9 Spoon glaze over meat loaf.
  • Step #10 Return to oven; bake an extra 20 to 25 mins or until meat thermometer inserted in center reads 160°F Let stand 5 to 10 mins before serving.
