Ingredients
1 tsp asafetida powder .
2 tsps mustard seeds .
500 mg fenugreek leaves .
1 c gram flour .
50 g onions .
10-12 curry leaves .
4 tsps vegetable oil .
3-4 green chilies .
salt .
2 tsps turmeric powder .
5 g coriander leaves
Directions
Step #1 1.
Step #2 Mix together gram flour, salt & some water for desired consistency.
Step #3 Remove the lumps.
Step #4 (There is an alternative method for this.
Step #5 First follow the step 2, & add water directly to it.
Step #6 When water starts boiling, add gram flour & stir.
Step #7 Watch out for lumps.

Step #10 In a deep pan, heat oil.
Step #11 Add mustard seeds, asafoetida & turmeric powder.
Step #12 Add sliced onions.
Step #13 Give vertical slits to the chilies & add them.

Step #16 When onion pieces become transperent, add the paste of gram flour.
Step #17 Now keep stirring to avoid lump formation.

Step #19 Cover up & turn the heat on medium.

Step #21 Remove the lid & stir after 5 mins till the consistency is thick to semisolid.
Step #22 Methi besan is ready to serve when the raw smell goes.

Step #24 Garnish with coriander leaves & serve this with plain rice or bhakri.
