Ingredients
  • 1/4 c Braggs liquid aminos or soy sauce .
  • 1 c green peppers .
  • 8 oz water chestnuts, sliced .
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder .
  • 1 1/2 lbs extra-firm silken tofu .
  • 1 1/2 c unsweetened pineapple juice .
  • 1/2 c apple cider vinegar .
  • Sauce .
  • 1 1/2 tbsps peanut butter .
  • 8 green onions .
  • 1/4 c parsley .
  • 1/2 c brown sugar .
  • 2 tbsps brown sugar .
  • 2 tbsps cornstarch .
  • 1/4 c canned mushroom slices or 1/2 c fresh mushrooms

Directions
  • Step #1 Balls:.
  • Step #2 Yes the recipe does say brown sugar twice.
  • Step #3 Yes unless you want to convert from grams use both.
  • Step #4 cut onions & green peppers into 1/4 inch pieces.
  • Step #5 Mash tofu in bowl.
  • Step #6 Then mix in the rest of the ingredients.
  • Step #7 Form into 2 inch balls.
  • Step #8 Roll in flour & fry in 1/2 inch oil browning on all sides.
  • Step #9 Do NOT let oil smoke.
  • Step #10 Drain on paper towels.
  • Step #11 Serve hot.
  • Step #12 Sauce:.
  • Step #13 Combine sauce in saucepan over med heat.
  • Step #14 Whisk out the lumps & heat, stir constantly until thickens.
  • Step #15 Pour over balls when serving.
  • Step #16 Make sure they are well coated.
