4 chocolate-covered english toffee bars, crushed (such as Skor or Heath) .
1 c pecans, sliced & divided .
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk .
1 (18 1/2 oz) box yellow cake mix
Directions
Step #1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step #2 Grease a 9 x 13 pan.
Step #3 Beat together the cake mix, oil, ½ c coffee & eggs.
Step #4 Add Swirled Chocolate-Caramel chips in the mix with a wooden spoon.
Step #5 Spoon approximately ¾ of the mixture into the bottom of prepared pan.
Step #6 Press with spatula to spread it to cover the bottom.
Step #7 Bake this layer for 10 mins.
Step #8 In a double boiler or saucepan on low heat, chocolate covered caramels, ½ c coffee, warm the butter, & condensed milk until all items are mixed together & smooth.
Step #9 Continually swirl with a wooden spoon to prevent burning.
Step #10 Pour the filling over the partially baked crust.
Step #11 Sprinkle top with 1/2 c pecans.
Step #12 Spoon the remaining ¼ batter mix over the pecans.
Step #13 Finish by sprinkling with sliced toffee bars & remaining 1/2 c pecans.
Step #14 Bake an extra 30 mins.
Step #15 Allow the pan to cool completely & cut into square bars.
