Jumbo Prawns (shrimp) With Mushrooms And Onions Recipe

Ingredients

20 large shrimp, peeled & deveined (you could also use smaller shrimp just make sure to reduce the cooking time) .
2 oz white wine .
salt & pepper .
1/2 c fresh mushrooms, sliced .
1 tbsp butter .
1 tbsp olive oil .
1/2 c green onions, sliced

Directions

Step #1 Heat the oil & butter in a heavy saute pan.
Step #2 Add the jumbo shrimp, deveined, which have been peeled, & split partly through the back.
Step #3 Stir carefully 2 - 5 mins.
Step #4 Add the sliced green onions, the mushrooms, salt & pepper to taste.
Step #5 Cook until the prawns have changed color, & add the dry white wine.
Step #6 Cook 3 mins & serve in a hot chafing dish.
