Versatile Chili-cheese Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c butter, cubed .
  • 1 c shredded cheddar cheese .
  • 2 c heavy whipping cream .
  • 1/4 c all-purpose flour .
  • 1/2 c shredded monterey jack cheese .
  • 1 c sour cream .
  • 3 tsps chicken bouillon granules .
  • 1 (4 oz) can sliced green chilies, undrained .
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Directions
  • Step #1 In large saucepan, melt butter.
  • Step #2 Stir in flour until smooth; slowly add cream.
  • Step #3 Bring to a boil; cook & stir for 2 mins or until thickened.
  • Step #4 Stir in sour cream, chilies & bouillon.
  • Step #5 Reduce heat to medium; cook & stir for 3-4 mins or until heated through.
  • Step #6 Add cheeses & pepper.
  • Step #7 Cook until bubbly & cheese is melted, stirring every once in awhile.
