Grandma Max's Layered Jello Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (250 g) package Philadelphia Cream cheese .
  • 1 (3 oz) package lemon gelatin .
  • 1 (3 oz) package cherry gelatin (or other colour) .
  • 1 (3 oz) package Cool Whip .
  • 1 (398 ml) can pineapple chunks

Directions
  • Step #1 Prepare the cherry jello powder according to the directions on the package in a glass mixing bowl.
  • Step #2 Put it in the fridge & let it set.
  • Step #3 Once set, prepare the coolwhip according to the package & cut the cream cheese into small chunks.
  • Step #4 Mix the cream cheese into the cool whip & layer it on top of the cherry jello.
  • Step #5 Let it set in the fridge.
  • Step #6 Drain the pineapple chunks & rinse with cold water to remove most of the acidic juice.
  • Step #7 Make the lemon jello powder according to directions.
  • Step #8 Put the pineapple chunks into the jello & layer over top of the cool whip mixture.
  • Step #9 Let set in the fridge & serve.
  • Step #10 Note: The cool whip should be one of the small envelopes.
