- 1 (15 oz) can green sweet peas, reserve 1 c liquid .
- 1/4 tsp salt .
- 2 tbsps cornstarch .
- 2 tbsps butter or margarine
Directions
- Step #1 Melt butter in saucepan over low heat/flame.
- Step #2 Blend in salt,pepper.
- Step #3 Cook over low heat/flame,stirring until mixture is smooth & bubby.
- Step #4 Remove from heat & add saved liquid, mixing in cornstarch.
- Step #5 Heat to boiling stirring constantly, lower heat & add peas.
- Step #6 Stir & heat though.
