Smokey Bones Honey Pecan Butter Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lb unsalted butter, softened .
  • 1/4 c clover honey .
  • 1/2 c pecans, halved

Directions
  • Step #1 • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step #2 • Place pecan halves on a cooking tray & cook this until toasted, approximately five to eight mins.
  • Step #3 Remove from oven & let cool to about room temp.
  • Step #4 • Chop cooled pecans.
  • Step #5 • Place pecans & butter in a mixer & mix for three to five mins using a spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl, as needed.
  • Step #6 • Blend on lowish speed adding honey & continue until all ingredients are well mixed.
  • Step #7 • Place in serving dish or bowl & put in the fridge until ready for use.
  • Step #8 • Serve with warm cornbread.
