Banana Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c skim milk .
  • 3 ice cubes (about 1/4 c) .
  • 1 tbsp nonfat dry milk powder .
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla .
  • 1 c low-fat vanilla yogurt .
  • 1 c ripe bananas, sliced & frozen (about 1 large)

Directions
  • Step #1 Place all ingredients in a mixer & process until smooth.
  • Step #2 Note: To freeze bananas, slice & place on baking sheet.
  • Step #3 Freeze for a minimum of one hr.
  • Step #4 Store extra banana slices in a plastic bag in the freezer for quicker preparation later.
  • Step #5 Variation: Add about a 1/4 c of chocolate chips to the mixer after all other ingredients have been well mixed, & mix until finely sliced.
