Step #2 Make sure the potatoes are smoothly mashed.
Step #3 Combine all ingredients, in order listed, into pan of bread maker.
Step #4 Run dough cycle.
Step #5 (By Hand).
Step #6 Mix warm water, yeast, & 1 tsp sugar until yeast is dissolved.
Step #7 Let sit for 5 mins.
Step #8 Stir in egg, buttermilk, sugar & melted butter.
Step #9 Mix baking soda into 1 c flour.
Step #10 Stir mixture into liquids.
Step #11 Stir in orange zest.
Step #12 Stir in 3 1/2 c flour.
Step #13 Sprinkle top remaining 1/2 c flour over kneading surface.
Step #14 Turn dough out onto surface & knead 5-10 mins until dough is smooth & elastic.
Step #15 It should still be slightly sticky.
Step #16 Put dough in bowl, spray top this with cooking spray & place this in warm spot to rise until about doubled.
Step #17 While dough is rising, make filling by combining the ingredients.
Step #18 When dough is through rising, or dough cycle is done, turn dough out onto lightly floured surface.
Step #19 Roll dough out into 10 x 18 inch rectangle.
Step #20 Spread filling over dough, leaving a 1 inch border along the longer sides.
Step #21 Roll up dough, jelly-roll style.
Step #22 Cut into 1 1/2 inch slices (no thicker than that) & place slices into well greased baking pan.
Step #23 Spray top of rolls with cooking spray.
Step #24 If you wish, you can cover the rolls with plastic wrap & put into refrigerator to rise overnight, or place this into warm spot to rise until doubled, about 30 mins.
Step #25 Bake rolls at 400F for 10 mins.
Step #26 While baking, sugar, make glaze: Stir together cinnamon, corn syrup & butter in saucepan over med-heat/flame.
Step #27 Bring to a light boil, stirring constantly.
Step #28 Remove from heat & stir in the cream & vanilla.
Step #29 After 10 mins, remove rolls from oven & slowly drizzle glaze over rolls, allowing it to soak into the rolls.
Step #30 Return rolls to oven & bake for another 10-15 mins, or until lightly browned.
