Step #1 Turn on crock pot to high.
Step #2 Add Beef broth.
Step #3 Cut carrots, celery & garlic.
Step #4 Dice potatoes & yam.
Step #5 Go ahead & add some onions too - We just had none at the time.
Step #6 Add all veggies to crock pot.
Step #7 Cut Beef to desired size.
Step #8 Combine "coating" ingredients in a bag, add beef chunks & shake till coated.
Step #9 Brown coated beef lightly in a medium heat fry pan.
Step #10 Add to crock pot.
Step #11 Add the remainder of ingredients to crock pot - including any leftover flour mixture.
Step #12 Cook for 2-3 hrs on high, stirring only once to meld flavours after about 1/2 hr.
Step #13 (Keep in mind, the more you browned your meat, the less time it will take to cook.
Step #14 ).
