My Great Salmon Chowder Recipe

Ingredients
  • salt .
  • 1/2 c bear creek creamy potato soup mix .
  • 2 c Swanson chicken broth .
  • 2 c milk .
  • 1 (32 fluid oz) box pacific natural foods free range chicken broth .
  • 1 (14 3/4 oz) can bumble bee alaska sockeye red salmon .
  • 3 tbsps cornstarch .
  • 1 lb white sweet potatoes

Directions
  • Step #1 Peel the sweet potato & cut it into small chunks.
  • Step #2 Boil cut up potato in salted water until just almost tender.
  • Step #3 Put all ingredients except corn starch into crock pot & let it do its thing.
  • Step #4 About 1/2 hr before serving mix corn starch with a little broth from the crock pot until creamy, add to pot & whip with a wisk.
  • Step #5 Vary quantities as you wish, keys to the taste are the salmon, the Free Range Chicken Broth & the Bear Creek Potato Soup Mix.
  • Step #6 Serve with a little french bread & a bottle of chardonnay.
