Step #1 In a mixing bowl, pour 3 1/2 c whole milk & add 1 c sugar - whisking until well mixed.
Step #2 In a double boiler, melt 1 oz square of unsweetened bakers chocolate.
Step #3 Once ompletely melted, stir in the 1/4 c cocao & added 1/2 c milk.
Step #4 Stir until well mixed & smooth.
Step #5 Pour chocolate mixture into the mixing bowl with the milk & sugar.
Step #6 Whisk until well mixed.
Step #7 Place mixing bowl in refrigerator for 1 - 3 hrs until cold.
Step #8 Prepare ice cream maker according to manufacturers directions.
Step #9 Once the milk mixture is cold, whisk in 1/3 c malt powder.
Step #10 Transfer to ice cream maker freezing bowl.
Step #11 Run Ice cream maker about 30 mins Place in freezer until completely frozen.
Step #12 Serve & enjoy.
