24 oz French bread, cut into sixty four 1/3-inch-thck slices .
1 tbsp olive oil .
8 medium garlic cloves, peeled (or to taste) .
1 1/2 tbsps fresh parsley, finely minced .
3/4 tsp table salt
Directions
Step #1 Coat a large roasting pan with cooking spray.
Step #2 Set pan on middle rack in oven & then preheat your trusty oven to 425ºF.
Step #3 Combine garlic, lemon juice, salt, oil, pepper & parsley in a small bowl; mash to a fine paste using back of a wooden spoon (or you can use a mortar & pestle).
Step #4 Set aside about 1/3 of garlic paste for use on the meat (the other 2/3 will be for the toasts).
Step #5 Wash beef & pat dry with paper towels.
Step #6 Rub about 1/3 of garlic paste on meat.
Step #7 Place meat in preheated roasting pan & cook about 22 mins for medium rare or 25 mins for medium.
Step #8 Remove meat from oven & place on a cutting board.
Step #9 Loosely cover meat with aluminum foil wrap & let this stand 15 to 20 mins (meat will continue to cook slightly).
Step #10 Reduce oven temperature to 350ºF.
Step #11 Meanwhile, spread tops of bread slices with garlic paste; place this in a single layer on baking sheets.
Step #12 Bake until slightly toasted, about 5 to 7 mins.
Step #13 Remove strings from meat & slice against the grain into 32 very thin pieces; slice each piece in half.
Step #14 Place a slice of meat on each garlic toast & serve.
