• 1/2 tsp mace .
• 1 egg .
• 2 tbsps poppy seeds .
• 1 c dark brown sugar .
• 1/4 tsp salt .
• 1 tbsp milk .
• 2 tsps baking powder .
• 1/2 c softened butter

• Step #1 Cream butter.
• Step #2 Add sugar & egg & beat until light.
• Step #3 Add milk through mace & mix well.
• Step #4 Shape in 1-inch balls, then flatten to ¼-inch thickness.
• Step #5 Make a thumbprint in center of each.
• Step #6 Sprinkle top center with poppy seeds.
• Step #7 Bake at 400F 6-8 mins.
