German Sausage Fry Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tbsps vegetable oil .
  • 2 tbsps German mustard (spicy) .
  • 1/4 c beer .
  • 4 sausages (assorted bratwurst, knackwurst, weisswurst, wieners, or your choice) .
  • 1 c onions, sliced into large chunks

Directions
  • Step #1 Steam sausages 8 to 10 mins.
  • Step #2 While sausages cool enough to handle, saute onion chunks in oil until they soften.
  • Step #3 Remove onions from pan & set aside.
  • Step #4 Slice sausages into large chunks & add to frying pan.
  • Step #5 Saute until sausages begin to brown.
  • Step #6 Return onions to pan, add beer & mustard.
  • Step #7 Stir until mixture is warm.
