Step #1 Combine milk, cloves, 1/2 tsp vanilla & cinnamon in a saucepan.
Step #2 Heat over lowest setting for 5 mins.
Step #3 Slowly bring to a boil.
Step #4 In a large bowl, comine egg yolks & sugar.
Step #5 Whisk together until fluffy.
Step #6 Wisk hot milk mixture slowly into the eggs.
Step #7 Now,pour this mixture into sauce pan again.
Step #8 Cook over med-heat/flame, stirring constantly for 3 mins, or until thick.
Step #9 do not allow mixture to boil.
Step #10 Strain to remove cloves, & let cool for about an hr.
Step #11 Stir in rum, cream, 2 tsp vanilla & nutmeg.
Step #12 Refrigerate overnight before serving.
