  • 1 1/2 c flour .
  • 1 tsp baking soda .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 3 c oatmeal .
  • 1 c brown sugar .
  • 1 c shortening .
  • 2 eggs .
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Sift together flour, salt & baking soda.
  • Step #2 Mix everything together.
  • Step #3 Shape into two rolls.
  • Step #4 Wrap in wax paper & chill about 3 hrs.
  • Step #5 slice & bake & 400F degrees for 8-10 mins.
