Ingredients
  • 1/2 c butter, softened .
  • 2 tbsps buttermilk .
  • 1 lb powdered sugar, sifted .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 1/4 c cocoa powder, sifted .
  • 8 oz cream cheese

Directions
  • Step #1 In the bowl of an electric mixer mix the butter, cocoa powder & cream cheese over lowish speed & mix until thoroughly mixd.
  • Step #2 Increase speed to high & cream ingredients until light & fluffy.
  • Step #3 Reduce speed to low & slowly add the powdered sugar, buttermilk, & vanilla.
  • Step #4 Beat until mixture is smooth & thoroughly mixd.
  • Step #5 Frost cake as usual.
